Right Side Up

Wow! Where have the last three years gone so quickly? My last blog post was in September of 2013?

So much as happened.  I started the blog as a way to stay active and in touch despite debilitating fatigue, but I am awestruck at the transformation that has come over me since then.

#1 In June of 2014  A friend introduced me to a some high quality supplements that have turned my life right side up. Within weeks I noticed a slight difference and within months, my life was transformed from living between naps to going full speed ahead.  My fatigue was gone. My constant muscle and joint discomfort was gone. My digestive issues were gone. My restless nights were gone.  Instead, I was full of energy, feeling great and sleeping soundly.  It was like someone hit my reset button.

#2  Three weddings and a new grand-baby.  January of 2014, September of 2015 and May of 2016, three of our eight children were married. Christmas Day of 2014, we were blessed with our first grand-child. This beautifully busy season of life has been full of activity.

#3  Feeling better means I am on the go! Yay!  I feel like my old self again. As a matter of fact, I feel better than my old self.  This new energy means I am doing all sorts of new things.

I have a part-time job with a homeschooling organization called Classical Conversations that is now over 100,000 students strong across the nation.  I cherish being a part of this organization. I get to see first hand what a blessing it is to homeschool families to have support and encouragement along the way.

In March of 2015, I invested in my own personal growth and became an Independent Certified John Maxwell Coach, Speaker and Trainer.  That spring, On Track Solutions, LLC was born. I have a general track of Leadership coaching and training, along with On Track Solutions, LLC Family with a specific outreach to families, especially in education including special needs at home.

In June of 2016, I completed my first e-book called Grading without the Guesswork to help homeschoolers navigate this often challenging responsibility. Homeschool parents can transform surviving to thriving in their record keeping and evaluations.

I LOVE my job!!!

My best job is still caring for my family. I confess that with all these changes, I have had my share of readjusting priorities. I am no longer homeschooling a crowd, only two left in high school. Life is different. The birdies are leaving the nest rapidly, but instead of focusing on the emptiness, I focus on the  fullness. My eye is on the opportunities, not the obstacles.  In many ways, my life is being turned upside down with changes as my children leave home. Now, I am more focused on wrapping up this journey and making time for hospitality and new dreams!

It is my turn to change my Upside Down to my  Right Side Up!
